Security sources in Ghazni said that security forces clashed with Taleban insurgents in parts of the province leading to casualties on both sides. While the dead included 7 Taleban insurgents, Mohammad Hanif Rezaee, spokesman for 3rd Afghan National Army (ANA) battalion in Ghazni, told Killid that two Afghan soldiers were injured. Among the dead Taleban is a prominent commander. Nine other Taleban were injured in clashes with Afghan security forces in Espandi, Shahbaz, and Molano Baba areas. Meanwhile Zabiullah Mujahid, a so-called Taleban spokesman, told Killid that two Afghan security forces were killed and four others were injured in the clashes with Taleban militants.
