At least 34 Taleban insurgents were killed or injured in a bomb explosion in Ghazni yesterday. Gen. Aminullah Amarkhail, chief of Ghazni police, said that the incident happened in Ab Band district in which 16 Taleban insurgents were killed and 18 others were injured. Meanwhile Mohammad Hanif Rezayee, spokesman for Thandar 203 Corps, said that 16 Taleban insurgents were killed and 14 others were injured. He added that after the incident there was a firing in which a number of Taleban insurgents were burned alive. Zabiullah Mujahid, a so-called Taleban spokesman, said that only two Taleban militants were killed and three others were injured in the explosion.
