Taleban militants launched coordinated attacks on security checkpoints in Charsha area of Khoja Bahawoden district. Khalil Aser, spokesman for Takhar police, said that the clash is ongoing between Afghan security forces and Taleban insurgents. Aser did not provide further information regarding the casualties on either side. Darqad and Khoja Bahawoden are disturbed districts of Takhar where Taleban insurgents are actively operating.
