Security officials in Kapisa said that the rate of crime in the province has fallen over the past three months and security situation has improved. Mohammad Ayub Yosufzai, spokesman for Kapisa police, said security institutions have taken special measures to improve the security and as a result the crime rate has dropped. He added that security check points have been created on the province’s highways and Afghan security forces have increased patrolling in insecure areas of the province. It is reported that two criminal incidents happened in Kapisa province so far in April. The killing of both a young girl and deputy chief of the provincial council.
