At least eight Daesh militants were killed in Afghan security forces’ operation codenamed “Hamza” in Achin district last night. Brigadier Sheren Aqa Faqiri, spokesman for Selab 201 Corps, told Killid that eight Daesh militants were killed and tens of others were injured in Mamand area of Achin district. He added that there were no civilian or military casualties. Faqiri further stated that eight anti-vehicle mines were also confiscated and destroyed in Kunar, Laghman, and Nangarhar provinces. Daesh militants have not commented on the incident yet.
