13 Taleban Insurgents Killed, 11 Injured in Ghazni

Security officials in Ghazni said that 24 Taleban insurgents were killed or injured in the province. Nizamuddin Khanjar, commander of 3rd division of Afghan National Army (ANA) told Killid that ANA launched a joint clearance operation in parts of the province earlier this morning. He added that at least 13 Taleban insurgents were killed and 11 others were injured in parts of Shalez, Mangor, and Qarbaghi of provincial capital. He did not comment on the number of military and civilian casualties. Taleban militants have not commented on the statement yet.
