Security sources reported that two police officers of Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) were gunned down by unknown gunmen today. A source from the criminal investigation department of Kabul police speaking on the condition of anonymity said that the policemen were shot dead in PD 5th this morning. He added that the motive behind the incident is not yet known and the gunmen have fled the area. He asserted that an investigation has been launched to identify and arrest the perpetrators. No group has claimed responsibility.
