Security officials in Nangarhar said that 19 Daesh militants were killed in a new operation codenamed “Hamza” in Achin and Kot districts. Brigadier Sheren Aqa Faqiri, spokesman for Selab 201 Corps, told killid that 19 Daesh militants were killed and tens of others injured in Afghan commando’s air and ground operations in parts of Achin and Kot districts. He added that there were no civilian or military casualties during the operation. Daesh militants have not commented on the statement yet.
