Security officials in Kunduz reported that Mullah Asadullah, Taleban’s deputy governor for Kunduz province, was killed yesterday. Brigadier Gen. Abdul Hamid Hamidi, chief of Kunduz police, told media that Mullah Asadullah along with 14 fighters was killed in an airstrike conducted in Mullah Qole area of Dasht-e-Archi district yesterday. He added that some foreign militants were also eliminated during the operation. Taleban militants have not commented on the incident yet.
