Security officials in Nangarhar province reported that 10 Daesh militants were killed or injured in a drone strike last night. Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesman for Nangarhar police, told Killid that seven Daesh militants were killed and three others injured in a US drone strike in parts of Haska Mina district last night. He added that a stockpile of Daesh ammunition was also destroyed during the operation. Meanwhile 17 Daesh militants were killed in air and ground operations conducted by Afghan Special Forces in Muzdaki, Shedel, and Baton areas of Achin district. Mashriqiwal added that there were no civilian or military casualties during the operation. Daesh militants are yet to comment on the incident.
