Kabul police thwarted a plot by armed anti-government groups to carry out a deadly suicide attack in the capital. Officials at Kabul Police Commandment said that a suspect has been arrested. Abdul Baser Mujahid, spokesman for Kabul police, said that the suicide attacker was arrested in Campany area of PD 5th yesterday. He added that the suicide bomber had planned to carry out the attack in an explosives-laden vehicle. He further stated that Kabul police has launched an investigation. Taleban militants have not claimed responsibility yet.
