Security officials in Ghazni said that at least 11 insurgents were killed in an Afghan security forces’ air operation in parts of Nawa district yesterday evening. A press release from Ghazni police stated that Afghan air forces conducted an airstrike yesterday evening in parts of Nawa district in which 11 foreign terrorists were killed. The statement added that a vehicle laden with explosives was also destroyed. The statement did not report of civilian casualties during the operation. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the statement.
