Local officials in Badghis province said that Taleban militants have reportedly torched two residential houses and a medical facility in the province. Naser Nazari, a member of provincial council of Badghis, told media that Taleban militants attacked Qarqacha area of Qads district last night and burned down two houses and a medical facility. He added that the attack was repulsed several hours later as the security forces arrived. Meanwhile Zahir Bahand, spokesman for Badghis governor, said that the Taleban attack began around 9 pm last night and ended at 3 am when the security forces arrived. The spokesman reported that no civilian or military casualties during the attack. Taleban militants have not commented on the incident yet.
