The United Nations announced that the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) has increased. A new UN report published yesterday stated that since January 2017 more than 47,000 people have internally been displaced due to armed conflicts. Most of the displaced people are residents of Kunduz and Baghlan provinces. According to UN reports, the conflict in Afghanistan has internally displaced more than half million people in 2016. Meanwhile the report stated most of the families with better living facilities left Kunduz due to insecurity.
