The Afghanistan national cricket team will face Ireland in the ICC Intercontinental Cup at the Greater Noida Sport Complex, outside the Indian capital, New Delhi today. Host Afghanistan, with 61 points from four matches, will be high on confidence after a 3-0 win in the Twenty20 International series and a 3-2 in the One-Day Internationals against Ireland, but Ireland leads the Intercontinental Cup table with 80 points, and will be no pushover. Meanwhile Afghanistan Development Squad, Afghanistan A team, defeated Malaysia in ACC Emerging Team Cup 2017 yesterday in Bangladesh. Afghanistan A will face Sri Lanka today.
