Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has ordered officials to reopen the Afghan-Pak border, Waqt News reported. Pakistani media reported that Sharif said that both countries have enjoyed cordial relations over the years. Sharif said, “Cultural and historic relations between both sides are centuries old.” In the aftermath of a suicide blast at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sindh which killed over 75 people and wounded more than 250, Pakistan had closed its border with Afghanistan citing security reasons.
