Afghan government said that if Pakistan does not open border ports, Afghanistan will chose a different option which will not be in Pakistan’s interest. Tawab Ghorzang, spokesman for National Security Council (NSC), said that Pakistan promised to reopen all border crossings at the London trilateral meeting. He added that Pakistan has not fulfilled that promise and if the transit routes are not opened soon, Afghanistan will chose options which will not be of interest to Pakistan. Pakistan closed Torkham, Ghulam Khan, and Spinboldak border ports following a series of deadly attacks in Pakistan.
