Security officials in Kandahar province reported that one policeman was killed and two others injured last evening. Zia Durrani, spokesman for Kandahar police, said that a police patrol was attacked by unknown gunmen in PD 2th of Kandahar city last evening. He said that one policeman was killed and two others injured in the incident. Durrani further stated that the injured were transferred to the nearby hospital and their condition was stable. The spokesman said that the gunmen fled the area but will soon be arrested by police. No group has claimed responsibility.
