Local officials in Paktika province reported that the funeral ceremony of a local Taleban commander was targeted by a US drone in Zerok district. They said that the drone attack on the funeral of Keramat Khan, killed 29 armed insurgents. A press release from Paktika governor’s office sent to Killid stated that the incident happened yesterday afternoon in the Tange area of the district and among those killed were two prominent Taleban commanders. The statement added that Keramat Khan was also a prominent Taleban commander who was killed by people on March 11.
