Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) announced that eight drug traffickers were arrested in the past 24 hours. A press release from MoI sent to Killid stated that counter narcotic police launched 10 operations in the past 24 hours in parts of Kabul, Parwan, and Panjshir and Badakhshan provinces. The statement added that eight drug traffickers and a wholesale dealer were arrested. The statement further stated that 42 kg of drugs and two vehicles were confiscated from the arrested drug traffickers. Meanwhile MoI stated that 31 armed anti-government forces were killed, two injured, and 12 others arrested in Afghan security forces’ operation in the past 24 hours. The operations were conducted in Maidan Wardak, Nangarhar, Daikonde, and Uruzgan provinces. Taleban militants have not commented on the statement yet.
