Eight Local Police Killed by Two Policemen in Zabul

Local officials in Zabul province said that two local policemen killed eight colleagues. Besmillah Afghanmal, governor of Zabul, confirmed the incident and said that the incident took place yesterday evening in Shinakai district of the province. He added that the perpetrators had links with Taleban. Afghanmal further stated that the attackers have taken their weapons with them. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the incident. This comes as a policeman who had links with Taleban militants killed 11 policemen in PD of Lashkargah two weeks ago.
