Pakistan Rocket Attacks Continue in Nangarhar

Local officials in Nangarhar reported that Pakistani shelling is continuing for two consecutive days in Lal Pur district of Nangarhar. Residents of Lal Pur told Killid that tens of their cattle have wasted and most of their houses were burned as result of the rocket fired by Pakistani military for the past two days. They said that the shelling has resulted in the displacement of the people in the cold weather. Meanwhile local official in Nangarhar asserted that some 350 rockets have been fired in border areas of Lal Pur district for the past two days but did not have human casualties. Ataullah Khogyani, provincial governor’s spokesman, said that they have shared the concern with the central government and hope that Afghan government takes action against it. It is reported that Pakistan has fired rockets in parts of Kunar province in the past two days but no casualties have so far been reported.
