Seven civilians were killed and injured in a rocket launched in Kunduz city yesterday afternoon. A press release from Kunduz governor’s office stated that the rocket was launched by armed anti-government group which hit Kotagerd area of the provincial capital. The statement added that one civilian was killed and six others injured. Meanwhile Asadullah Amarkhail, Kunduz governor, while visiting the wounded said that armed anti-government militants always target civilians. He instructed provincial health officials to shift the injured to Kabul for further treatments. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the incident.
