Local officials in Laghman province said that five people were killed and injured in car crash on Kabul-Jalalabad highway today. Sarhadi Zowak, spokesman for Laghman governor, told Killid that two car collided in Kakes area of Qargha Khail district, Laghman this morning around 6:00 am, killing at least one person and injuring four people, including two women. Zowak added that the injured were transferred to the nearby hospital. Traffic accidents are the second major cause of death after war.
