Hizb-e- Islami Insists Abolition of Military Establishments of Political Parties

Hizb-e- Islami party wants all the political parties and trends in the country to dissolve their military establishments. Mohammad Amin Karim, chief negotiator of Hizb-e- Islami party, told Killid that their party will implement provisions of peace agreement with Afghan government and is ready to dissolve their military establishments across the country. Amin stressed that based on Afghanistan’s constitution, no party has the right to form military establishments. Last week a provision of peace agreement, removal of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar’s name from UN blacklist, was implemented by request of Afghan government. Meanwhile political analysts in Kabul insist that Hizb-e- Islami should be bound to their commitments of peace agreement signed with Afghan government and hand over all their weapons to the Afghan government.
