Afghanistan Win ODI Series with Third Consecutive Victory

Afghanistan Development Squad defeated Zimbabwe A by 20 runs in their third of five ODI matches last night at Harare sports Club. Choosing to bat first, Afghanistan posted 279 runs from 50 overs. Zimbabwe A could not chase down the target and lost all their wickets after scoring 259 runs from 50 overs. Afghanistan Cricket Board reported that Shafiqullah Shafaq scored 70 runs; he was recognised as the best player of the match for two consecutive matches. This follows as earlier Afghanistan had defeated Zimbabwe A team by 5 wicket in their first and second ODI last week. It is reported that Afghanistan will face Zimbabwe in the fourth and fifth of five ODI matches this week.
