Local officials in Adraskan district of Herat said that unknown gunmen killed three women last evening. Lal Mohammad Omarzoi, district governor, said that the incident happened yesterday evening in Kula Sorkh area of the district. He added that the women were shot death and their corpses were found in a residential house. He further stated that 20 suspects have been arrested and police have started the investigation. The district governor speculates that family virulence might be the motives behind the attack. Meanwhile a local policeman was killed in Keshk Serwan area of Pashton Zarghon district last night. No group has claimed responsibility for the incidents so far.
