Qarabagh, a district in Ghazni, are yet to receive ballot boxes, as of noon on September 18. Qarabagh, a district in Ghazni, are yet to receive ballot boxes, as of noon on September 18.

Haj Ghafoor Rahmani, an election candidate’s brother in Ghazni, claimed in an interview with Radio Killid that the residents of Qarabagh have not yet received voting boxes and other materials. He also claimed that officials from the Independent Election Commission were absent. Yesterday, IEC staff members were already sent to the PRT camp in the capital city, Ghazni, with voting materials for Qarabagh.

According to the report, there are more than 15 voting sites in this district and still, about 38,000 voting papers that were for use in this district, have not been sent to the area.
According to Rahmani, Qarabagh is one of the most secure districts in Ghazni.

He claimed that voting papers have not been sent to areas such as, Naw Abad and Rah-e-kahenat by10:00 am local time. In addition, he said that many electoral sites opened late.
According to his claims, the voting boxes were sent to one part of Malistan, a district in Ghazni, without accompanying official documentation.
